Painting for Goodness Sake!

Teaching a painting on glassware class at our local senior citizens home. This is an ongoing project, where I teach a small class of residents (4-10) to paint--something. We have painted mugs, wine glasses, tea light vases, ceramic ornaments, so far. The residents may either keep what they have made or donate it to the gift shop, where they are for sale to the public-. Proceeds from those sales go to a charity designated by the resident- "Painting for Goodness Sake!". Almost all were donated (with a few given as gifts for the holidays). All pieces in the gift shop have sold! This "project" has made me stretch my wings a bit, and the reward of seeing their accomplishment and happy smiles, is priceless!
