Scholarships from the Michigan Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired
The Michigan Council of the Blind and Visually Impaired (MCBVI) is happy to announce the offering of scholarships for blind and visually impaired students in Michigan.
The scholarship helps pay for books, and tuition for technical programs as well as post-secondary tuition .
·Technical/Vocational career
·Undergraduate degree
·Graduate degree
Criteria for applicants:
·Must have been accepted into a technical school, college, or university in Michigan
·Legally blind or qualified as low vision based on the Qualifications used by schools in Michigan
·Grade point average of 2.5 or better
Our purpose for awarding these scholarships is to promote the education of the members of our blind and low vision community and to decrease the barriers for a more diverse, equal, and inclusive society.
