Outside my window:
Whew! Snow, snow everywhere! We just finished with a storm that dumped 16" of snow in 24 hours in our area--that was on top of the 10" we had a few days before this storm. The forecast of a winter storm still is exciting to me--although we don't get "snow-days" like when we were in school, the how much will we get? and how long will it snow? questions are ageless. The beauty when it is coming down is breath-taking and when the sun comes out and shines on everything so beautiful, sparkling and white, well, to me, of course, it looks just magical!
News and Congratulations!:
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. It's hard to believe it is already February! The craft show in November at the Lower Macungie Community Center was wonderful. Thank you to all of you who stopped by to say "hello" and to all of you who entered the free drawing for a $20.00 gift certificate-- Congratulations to Karin Grant-Sommons (I e-mailed you Nov 23rd, but haven't heard back from you about which piece you would like-please contact me via e-mail).
Special offer for newsletter subscribers:
I'm sure you all are looking forward to spring, tulips and daffodils (my favorite), too! But 'til then, you can chase away the winter blues with festive wine and martini stemware, get inspired to plant the first pansy's in a decorative planter, add a fun new birdhouse to your landscape! Check out new additions to the website. And, in honor of Valentine's Day, and spreading the love, I'm offering 20% off your total order (not including S&H) for newsletter subscribers--until March 1, 2010.
I wish you a magical winter and hope you will keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart, and always remember: each day is a gift, just for you, from God--that's why it's called "the present." :)
Love and blessings,
